The man she’s been in love with for years wants a chance at forever with her but first she has to tell him that one of his and her brother’s closest friends is her rapist and possibly ruin the career of her godfather, a man she loves.

I decided to read this book because I love the “in love with best bud’s sister” theme and I’m so happy I did. Vin’s playboy persona quickly melted away to show a caring, patient, romantic hero who was willing to wait as long as necessary for the woman he loves. The love scenes were steamy but what made this such a great read for me was the emotion that came through so clearly.
