Are you ready for a giveaway? We’ve got our hands on a signed copy of RUSH by Maya Banks and we’re giving it away to one lucky reader here. Woot woot!

It’s open to all and winner will be announced on Sunday, January 20th.

To be in the running, help me out…I’m in a reading slump so what are you all reading these days? Anything that I must get my hands on?

Well, I’m reading review books for my blog… but can’t wait to get to a couple of used books that I got – for example, Red Hot Santa by Adair/Banks/Britton/Roberts, Dare Me by Adair/Shalvis/Leto… a couple from Vicki Lewis Thompson… and new ones by Shades of Grey by, aforementioned Maya and Double Danger by Dee Davis.

I’m in the process of reading a book (for review) that is published by the publisher Coliloquy. It is titled “Unbound, The Entwined Series”. It is a very erotic read and what is great about their books, and different from anything I have ever read before, I can choose how my story proceeds – it is an interactive read. It came out in November and is available at Amazon. You will want to make sure that you have something nice and cold when you read this book.

I’m currently re-reading Nalini Singh’ s Guild Hunter series. If you like sexy angels and vamps, this series is for you. Or, if you prefer contemporary romance, I highly recommend Poughkeepsie by Debra Anastasia. It is a beautifully written love story with hilarious supporting characters. Thanks for the chance to win!

Okay, I’m currently reading Nothing Left to Lose by Kirsty Moseley. I found on Goodreads. You have to read it on Wattpad, so it’s free so if you don’t like it you’re not wasting money. I am really enjoying the hero and heroine, if bad editing really bothers you this could be a problem, it bothers me, but I like the story so much I’m overlooking it. Plus free helps.

Today I read Wicked Wonderland by Lisa Whitefern that came out in December from Samhain. It was wonderfully magical – I couldn’t stop reading! It’s been awhile since a book has held my interest. I also recently read Maya Banks’ Shades of Gray and it was wonderful as well!

I’ve just discovered Pamela Clare. I know, I know, I’ve heard great things, but I read a little short Christmas story of the MacKinnon men and their wives on a recent blog a few weeks ago and I was so impressed that I had to right out and find the MacKinnon brothers trilogy: Surrender, Untamed, and Defiant.

I completely fell in love with those strong Highland men and their brave heroines. Pamela Clare brings on the emotions, thrills, and the hot loving!

And I recently finally read SEP’s What I Did for Love and was reminded just how wonderful SEP can be! I’m reading Passion for the Game. Sylvia Day. Enjoying it…very intriguing. I love Sylvia Day’s historical stuff.
And I am working on Maya Banks’ KGI series. Had to stop for a minute, and I got one out of order, and had to wait patiently for Amazon to send it. Got it yesterday, so I will be back into KGI with Hidden Away.

Right now on my nook the books that I have active and that I plan to read hopefully in the next week or so are: Second Chances by Lauren Dane, Wicked All the Way by Shayla Black, Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia, Brie Learns the Art of Submission by Red Phoenix, Fallen Legion by Laura Kreitzer (but I will have to go and read the series again before I read this book), The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski and Tidal by Emily Snow. I also have Talk Nerdy to Me by Vicki Lewis Thompson and Catspell by Colleen Shannon in paperback that one of my best friends sent me for Christmas. On top of all that I have 12 books that I have already pre-ordered that are all coming out before June. And those are just the ones that I can order, I will be pre-ordering more as they become available. Of course it’s a given that I will read yours. Geez writing all this down shows me that I really should get to work and start to read faster.

I am in the middle of reading The Mortal Instrument series by Cassandra Clare. It is a young adults novel but holds appeal to all ages. There are Shadowhunters, vampires, angels, demons, faries, and all sorts of stuff. They aee a great read. As of now there are 6 of them with the 6th coming out I believe later this year or early 2014. Plus the first boom City of Bones is being made into movie out in August 2013.

The first e-book I ever bought was one of Maya Banks, one of the Coulter’s family. Ever since then I’m hooked. I have all of her books on my Kindle Reader And I am absolutely in love with the KGI series. They are my favorites !
Right now I’m reading ‘Beneath this man’ from Jodi Ellen Malpas. She’s a very good writer too. I can certainly recommend this series.

I just finished reading Coming Home by Marie Force, an excellent addition to her Treading water series which I highly recommend. And just started reading Deadly Secrets, Kinncaid Brothers By Jaycee Clark. Another excellent book in her series as well.

Your KGI books are my favorite and I can’t wait to read your new series as well.

I’m reading Kate Douglas’ Dream Bound Series. I know it came out a while ago but I’ve been waiting for the perfect time to savor it. It’s intriguing, HOT and different and I’m having a blast as usual with Kate’s books. I’ve had a break in new releases this month and I’m playing catch up. Just finished Donna Grant’s Midnight Warrior (they keep getting better, practice makes perfect), and Melissa Mayhue’s Warrior Reborn (a highland delight as always).

I highly recommend THEA HARRISON’S ELDER RACES. I just finished LORD’S FALL and it was wonderful to see how Pia & Drago’s relationship is growing.

The all time best though is JENNIFER ASHLEY’S HIGHLAND PLEASURES series. Her MacKENZIE FAMILY CHRISTMAS Novella/short story is the best novella I have ever read. It was like a short book and left me VERY satisfied. It was followed by THE SEDUCTION OF ELLIOT McBRIDE. All of her books are keepers and at the end of this one I wasn’t sure if the seduction was of or by Elliot. She keeps your mind engaged =)

I love the series with the Seduction and Snacks series by Tara Sivec. I also just started the Rock Me series by Cherrie Lynn. So good.

I just picked up the 1st book in an older series last night. It’s called To The Edge, it’s part of the Bodyguard series by Cindy Gerard. There are 6 books in this series and I plan or reading them all. I loved her Black Ops inc series and just devoured those so…on to these ones.

I recommend everyoner read One More Summer by Liz Fielding. It is a ‘sweet’ romance that came out last year but it’s still one of my favorites. For erotic romance, Out of Bight, Out of Mind by Tymber Dalton which is a part of her Deep Mission Corps series. Great Sci-Fi menage!

I’ve been on mandatory bed/couch rest for most of this month. Reading has helped me to keep from going completely stir crazy. Thank God for my Kindle. The best book I’ve read so far this month is My Liege of Dark Haven by Cherise Sinclair. I think reading her books is better than going to therapy. Her stories really make me think about different things in my life.

I also read most of the book in Melody Anne’s Billionaires series and then the Tycoon books. The last book in each series were my favorites.

I read Undeniable by Madeline Sheehan and really liked it. It’s a biker romance. Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry is a YA story, which I don’t usually read, but I loved it. The writing was excellent – lots of emotional depth. Hush by Cherry Adair is one of my favorites – fast action and steamy scenes. On Dublin Street by Samantha Young was a great read! Oh and Iced by Karen Moning is another of my favorites. Thanks so much for the giveaway.

I’m reading Lydia Dare’s series on her Werewolves and Vamps. There funny, sad, and just plain emotional. You feel what the characters feel because the writing is so good. I’ve been very fortunate to have made a friend in this author. I promise you this is a series that will have you cracking up, cheering on the heroine and the hero and crying with them also.
The book I’m reading is Wolfishly Yours, Other books in the series by Lydia Dare is the following: The Wolf Who Loved Me , Never Been Bit, In The Heat Of The Bite, It Happened One Bite, The Taming Of The Wolf, The Wolf Next Door, Tall, Dark and Wolfish, A Certain Wolfish Charm. I hope everyone enjoys these books as much as I have. I love Historical romances and these books also fit into this category

I just finished the 4th book in the Darynda Jones “Charley Davidson” series. Fourth Grave Grave Beneath My Feet was as great as her other 3 books. Crescendo by Leah Brooke is the next book on my TBR pile and I’ve only heard great things about it.

I’m reading Janet Chapman’s latest – ‘Courting Carolina’ it’s 3rd in her Spellbound Falls series (which is an extension of her Highlander series and Midnight Bay trilogy) – they are in interesting mix of contemporary, paranormal with a bit of historical thrown in.

I just finished reading the second book of Kristen Proby from the series With me in Seattle and i loved this series it’s a classic erotic romance with lots of hot sex scenes and deep romance.
