Gillian Forrester spent most of her life running from who and what she came from. Until Miles came along. From the moment she held the tiny newborn her older sister didn’t want, Gillian stopped running and began to build a life for herself and her adopted son. Now, thirteen years later, as Gillian’s sister lay dying, she reveals the father’s identity and makes Gillian promise to find him.
Adrian Brown is the epitome of the successful rock star. He’s seen and done it all, with few regrets. It takes a lot to shock him—but the bombshell that he has a thirteen-year-old son rocks his world. And Adrian is even more surprised when the buttoned-up, elegant woman who’s raising Miles snags his erotic and romantic attention.
The last thing Gillian expected was to find herself getting hot and heavy with a person like Adrian. But as much as she wants to open up and give herself fully to this amazing man, she’s afraid the secrets of her past and Adrian’s problems with trusting people may keep them apart for good. If love isn’t enough can they find the trust they need?
~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~
Over the course of the books, readers get invested in the lives of the characters – or that’s the ultimate hope on my part, that readers connect with my characters. As each book ends and another couple has its HEA, the sense of anticipation builds for that last one.
I’m totally guilty of this as a reader myself. I watch those secondary characters who grow over the years, over the stories as he or she watches those they love finding their match and I can’t wait for their happy ending as well.
When it’s a hero, the key is to put him with the right kind of heroine. And to accept that no matter who you put him with, she’ll probably never be good enough for some folks – it’s that connection we have, I think. How can anyone be good enough for that character you’ve loved so long?
Back to the heroine again – she’s got a big job. She has to win over those readers who are going to demand the very best, totally perfect partner for him (or in the m/m instance, the perfect hero). The problem is that there are as many ideas of what the perfect heroine is as there are people reading that book, LOL!
When I was writing Coming Undone, I thought Adrian’s book would be the third and Cope’s the last. But as I started sketching out the story, I realized Adrian wasn’t ready to fall in love and that Cope needed it a lot more and was open to it so much more readily.
And then I thought about how the woman I’d originally planned for Cope was totally all wrong for him and that’s when I realized his heroine had been with the series all along in Ella.
So I really sat down and thought about Adrian and what sort of story he needed. What sort of heroine he needed. And the first thing that came to me was that she should be as private as his life was public.
She should be protective of her family as he was of his own. And see it as integral as he did. She needed to be raw and honest but buttoned up and reserved. He needed to work for her in a way he’d never had to before.
Creative, as he is. Artistic. I wanted her to understand music the way Adrian would. I wanted her to know what it meant to have creation be integral to her life. But I gave her some different twists in the road and made other choices. Choices she made and does not regret. I wanted her to absolutely have a sense of her path and to be there fully and happily.
She’s a mother. A fierce, no nonsense mother and the scenes I began to understand her the most at first, were those with Miles. And I think for Adrian the same is true.
She does not love or trust easily, but once she does, she does deeply and forever. Like Adrian, she has a close circle. While not her biological family, they are the family she’s made with her friends. Miles comes from a large, close group just as Adrian does. Gillian has made this for their son and it’s something I felt quite strongly would be a necessity for a man like Adrian.
In short, she needed to be smart, strong, loyal, brave, honest and loving – and in a package Adrian wouldn’t necessarily expect. He works hard for his success, but women fall into his lap right and left. He doesn’t need easy. He needs to be challenged and Gillian is that for him.
But she definitely needed to be knocked off kilter. Repeatedly. Had to be uncomfortable and off balance and keep going because it was about Miles. At first. And then it was because she doesn’t have the life he does and she absolutely needed to buy none of his bull and accept all of him, flaws and all. Above all, Adrian Brown needs to be loved for Adrian the man, not Adrian the rock star. And Gillian does.
They’re very much alike in all the ways that count. Enough that it’s those like issues that get them into trouble. They bicker a lot, which he’s endlessly amused by and he gets under her skin enough to charm her. It’s that safety they find together, that intimacy that’s the key to their connection. Even when it’s shaken by a dark secret she’s held on to for years, that connection is still there, though it’s a challenge for the two of them to remember.
I wanted Gillian to be worth the struggle. Because Adrian is. And I think she is. I hope you all think so too.
Who are some of your favorite series ending heroines?
I’ve got a signed, bound galley of NEVER ENOUGH to give away to one lucky winner chosen from the comments to this post. International entries definitely welcome!
I can’t wait for Adrian’s story…loved this series!! This is a great contest thanks & good luck to everyone who enters!!
They sound like two strong characters. I can’t think of particular heroines who ended a series but one of my favorite heroines is Milla from Cry No More.
I follow quite a few series but I can’t think of one that ended (Nalini Singh is still going on both of hers) or the main characters stayed the same (Deanna Raybourn’s Lady Julia Grey or CL Wilson’s Tairen Soul) so I don’t have a favorite ender.
I assume that the author loves her character as much as I do and will give him/her the best match. I am looking forward to meeting Gillian.
I really love the Twilight series ending. I thought that was really good. Bella, Edward and Jacob were great. Please enter me in contest. Tore923@aol.com
I loved Sam Starrett and Alyssa Locke-from Suzanne Brockmann’s Troubleshooter series. They fought, they bickered, they struggled. And sometimes, it wasn’t pretty. Both had a sh*t ton to learn about the other-their vunerabilities were laid bare before each other—and their love grew–stronger than that instant sexual chemistry that they had. What a wonderful couple. Love them hard. And was sad to see their story end.
most of the series i am reading are still going on…but some of Monica McCartys highlanders were triology…I do love her writing…thenLauren is not writing any more Dix…so I guess he ended too *sad* i loved the whole Megan Hart/Lauren Dane together Brad/Leah Dix/Kate and ms pickles
seachele71@hotmail.com
I had to scroll through my book catalog to trying to figure out a good answer for this. Nora Roberts had two trilogies I liked, the Irish ones: Born in Fire/Ice/Shame and Jewels of the Sun/Tears of the Moon/Heart of the Sea, but in both cases, I didn’t much like the last book in the series. Jean Johnson had the Nightfall series, but while she’s finished releasing books about the seven brothers, she’s still revisiting the world. Stephanie Laurens finished writing about the main Cynster line, but new family members or supporting characters keep popping up. Same deal with Julia Quinn and the Bridgertons. Actually, I think my favorite series ender would have to be The Realm of the Gods from Tamora Pierce’s Wild Magic quartet. Or, oh, Arrow’s Fall from Mercedes Lackey’s Heralds of Valdemar trilogy. Of course, those books featured the same characters all the way through.
I’m looking forward to reading Never Enough because I’m a fan of the famous hero/regular woman trope. Also, I’ve followed you into mainstream from Ellora’s Cave and I’ve enjoyed watching your writing style develop. Should be an excellent read.
Loved the cover of this book. the guy on the front is very sexy. this is a new author for me and would love to win this book.
Some great heroines for me are Anita Blake-Laurell K Hamilton, Cat Crawford-Jeaniene Frost, Rachal -Kim Harrison, Mercy-Patricia Briggs. Those are just some of my favs. Anita Blake is probly my fav. She is comfortable and uncomfortable at the same time. She is strong, a badass fighter, and does not take crap from anyone. Especially the bad guys.
Thanks for the giveaway and the chance to win.
A fav heroine in end book of a series is Sin in Sin Undone from Larissa Ione’s Demonica Series. This sounds like its going to be a “good” end on the series – though like most makes you kind of sad its done.
pams00 @ aol.com
Ooo Lauren, what a difficult question! There are not that many series I have read that have ended. The only one that comes to mind immediately, is Christine Feehan series about the seven Drake Sisters, and the last one is Elle, and she has all the powers of her sisters together. So she is the strongest and had the hardest life. So it really is Jackson who has to be worthy of her. But they fit together. A great series finale,
Wow! This makes me want to read it all the more! I’m so sad that this series is ending.
As for my fav? I fully admit it…
I’m horrible. I don’t often remember characters and books after I am done them. *sigh*
Faythe Sanders because she made the choice I had been wanting her to make since book one. Gah – this is going to be hard to write without the spoilers! Faythe had love with two guys but her heart belonged to one. The fact that many, many of us hung in until the last nail-biting pages to confirm who that choice was going to be tells how badly we were emotionally invested in the ending. Not to mention that the girl’s road was long and hard-fought and when you got the end, it was damned well time she got the happy ending.
The Brown Siblings stories have been some of the best family stories I have ever read. I just love Lauren’s books. I am counting down the days till Adrian’s book is out.
Lauren, hmmm such a great question….I loved Evangeline Hollis character frm S.J. Day’s Marked series…it was more of a trilogy and she was such a strong woman and the series was awesome…wish she would write more…another one is Patricia Brigg’s Mercy Thompson books..I believe she is ending the series aft 2013…and another one, but it hasnt really ended yet is Elena Deveraux frm Nalini Singh’s Guild Hunter books…
I will say Lauren, that in your Brown series, my favorite character will always be Erin Brown. Everything that she went thru, it could have just devestated her–but she stayed strong and opened herself up to love and because of that, she will always be my favorite female character , in fact , before I read Never Enough, so this may change, but as of now, she is my favorite character frm the Brown series
Congrats on the new book coming out
I loved the Shelly Laurenston’s Magnus Pack, Series. I laughed, cried and was cheering on Sara finally having the love of her life, and her two best friends getting their HEA. It was hoot reading the series, and think it has the most spunkiest females ever.
Love your books, and thank you for the contest!
Excellent review – I can’t wait for this one!!
Too difficult to choose just one heroine but some of my favorites are those of Pamela Clare. They’re feisty and independent and while they do need their heroes, they’re not helpless and not in denial about it.
This was a excellent post. I really need to read this series. It’s on my list. Beautiful cover and the books sound great. For me the Drake sisters series by Christine Feehan come to mind. I knew who the hero and heroine would be long before the book was out but did not anticipate what a intense book it would be. Frankly i was a little shocked by the first 1/4 of it. Really emotional grab you kind of book. Luckily we get glimpses of them still in the Sister of the Heart series that is a spin off of sorts it.
I think Elle Drake from Christine Feehan’s Drake Sister series was the perfect ending heroine,,, strong, fiery, stubborn the whole series and then in her story she has to overcome some much pain, trauma and anguish…she has to learn to trust in order to survive and that leaves her vulnerable….but her strength is always there.
I have not read this series. But based on what I just read today it sounds fantastic and I cant wait to pick it up.
As for favorites. I dont really know that I can pick one. It really ends up being what Im reading. Although right now I am absolutely in love with Lara Adrians series and those are some great heroes and heroines.
Brigit in Maggie Shayne’s Twilight series was terrific.Lady had a lot of snark and hutzpah. I am going to miss that series.
As far as favorite heroine from and ending series this is a new experience for me, I had never thought about that. But as far as series go when I started reading serial books your wolves series come to mind. The way I connected to the characters and how they mated with people that made them stronger and better spoke to my heart. Hugs Wanda
One of my favorite heroines in an ending series is Moira from the Circle Trilogy by Nora Roberts. That was the firs series and books of hers I ever read and her heroines were kick ass. Also Cybil in her Sign of Sever Trilogy is another of my favorites. Both of these series had a more than a bit of the paranormal, and the women could not be faint of heart. Another newer triolgy that I have read and I have found all of her heroines to be strong and independant and seem to save not only them selves but the men that love them. Kaki Warners “Blood Rose Trilogy” Daisy Etheridge ended the trilogy and again Kaki came through with a strong heroine. Tehya Talamosi, codename Enigma form Lora Leigh’s Elite Ops series is a strong woman with a soft heart under the armor she had to place around it to protect herself. Loved that series! This may seem strange but another of my favorite charaters that I can classify as a herione is a little girl named Lilly in Kate Douglas’ “Wolf Tales” series. She is a sweet little girl with the special gifts passed on to her through her father. Only her gift are much more. This is an erotic series but the children of these great “Chanku” bring so much to the story. Loved it!!
I have so many more I am sure I can think of, but I am on my break and my time is ending. Thanks for the chance to win this contest. And best of luck to everyone!!
I have been dying to read this series!
I have so many heroines that I am absolutely in love with. I loved all the Chase wives! They all overcame so much and still remained strong and true to themselves. I love Anabella from Heather Killough-Walden’s Hellbent, because even with her frailty’s she was strong willed and kicked ass. I love Meghan Chase from Julie Kagawa’s Iron Fey series because she embraced her destiny even if it meant she would lose the love of her life. Stephanie from Poppet’s Clawback hit rock bottom but still managed to find her way to love again. Rebecca Eaton from Sara Curran-Ross’s The Organ Grinder, OMG I do not think a stronger female hero has ever been portrayed before. Last but not least one of my latest favourites is Rowan from Goddess with a Blade because damn that girl can kick some ass and is sassy as can be. I just love her to bits.
I have many more heroines that I absolutely love but these are my most recent so they came to mind immediately. I absolutely love strong female characters and I am thankful that authors these days are doing a better job of bringing us such wonderful literary heroines.
Here is a blog I wrote a while back that shares my thoughts on strong female leads,
http://caligirlreviews-sugarandspice.blogspot.com/2011/07/goddess-with-blade-by-lauren-dane.html
Jana from Cynthia Eden’s Eternal series is one of my favorite series ending heroines. She kicks butt and doesn’t care about the names. Just so much fun to read!
I also liked Jaid from Kylie Brant’s Deadly trilogy. Like Gillian, she is a mother, first and foremost.
Jane from Victoria Dahl’s Tumble Creek trilogy. Great character.
I have to say, even though she wasn’t a series ending h, Liv from Chased is one of my all time favorite heroines. I just loved her and Mark’s story.
So excited for Never Enough! Thanks for so many hours of reading pleasure!
My favorite ending HEA couple would be Jackson and Elle form the Drake series by Christine Feehan. For the entire series you knew they were supposed to be together, even while they were fighting the inevitable themselves for their own flawed reasons.
After all the horror of Elle’s story–and kudos to Christine Feehan for being brave enough to have her heroine get kidnapped, brutalized and repeatedly raped–Jackson and Elle have the strongest story of the series. Sweet Elle ended up being so strong to overcome what had happened to her, and bad ass Jackson got to show the caring, tender side of his cold warrior persona.
They both take a leap of faith and love to grab onto and make their life together about what it could be and not about what it had been apart. They deserve each other, in the very best sense of the term.
Some of my favorite series is not end yet, the most perfect heroine for me is Eve Dallas from In Death series. But I found Sin is one of my favorite heroine, her story at Sin Undone is the last and finishing of Demonica series by Larissa Ione, and she face a lot of problems before she finally have her HEA.
Can’t wait to read Adrian’s story!
What a great story! I can’t wait to read it. I can’t say which heroine ending a series is my favorite because the majority of the series I read are still ongoing, or held the same female lead through the series. I have read 3 of the 4 Chse brothers series, and I refuse to read the 4th right now because I just can’t accept the finality of it all. I know there’s other stories coming from Petal, but I don’t want to have to wait so long for them. Please enter me in the contest.
Gah! I’m waiting quite impatiently for this book.
Most of the series that I have read are ongoing. I don’t think I have a favorite ending heroine but some of my favorite past series are the Wallflowers by Lisa Kleypas, the Bridgertons by Julia Quinn, and the Demonica series by Larissa Ione. Oh, and I can’t forget the Coulters by Catherine Anderson. Phantom Waltz is what got me started on contemporary romance.
Anita Blake from Laurell Hamilton’s series
Most of the series I am reading have not ended. I started reading with Diana Palmers Long Tall Texans and still buy every story she comes out with them. The one that kinda ended that I loved is Maya Banks Colter Series she is coming out with a Christmas book to revisit them. With each of her heroines I loved how they became stronger women.
Sienna Lauren for Hawk Snow in Kiss of Snow is definitely one of my fav. heroines in Nalini’s Psy/Changeling series, although the series isn’t ending yet. The same of goes for Elena Deveraux for Raphael in her still continuing Guild Hunter series.
Minerva Chesterson for “Daziel” (Royce Varisey) in Mastered by Love from Stephanie Laurens Bastion Club series is among the top of my series ending heroines.
Love Cassie Gambol for Shane Chase in Taking Chase from your Chase Brothers series, even though she’s not the ending heroine.
I’m sure I have more, but these are who I could think of on top of my head.
I Loved, Loved Tate and Matt to end the Chase Brothers series. She was just what he needed and you think they would not work at all, but they just did. I am glad to have the Petal series coming out so we get to see into the lives of the people we fell in love with.
Ohhhh I can’t wait to read this book! It sounds fantastic!!
One of my favourite series ending heroines is Mac Lane from the Fever series, which is actually a serial book. It makes me sad to see a series end because I miss the characters and their world. However, I do hope to seem them make an appearance in an author’s new work just so I can check in on them
Cat from the Cat & Bones series by Jeanine Frost. I know it has ended yet, but when it does, I am sure she will still be my favorite (or at least rank really high:).
Taken by Fire by Sydney Croft had such a good ending. Melanie/Phoebe brought so much to the existing series and let them tie up so many loose ends. I loved how Stryker was constantly at war with his feelings, considering the circumstances – you couldn’t blame him but he fought for what he wanted and wasn’t settling for anything less. Melanie brought out a side of him that I don’t even tink he knew he had!
You were blessed by the cover Gods again for this one!
Wow that’s a difficult question *grins* I would have to go with Anita Blake or Sookie Stackhouse.
I so can’t wait to read this book as I love the Brown Series.
Hmm, Tough question….. I don’t really have a favorite series ending heroine. Yet. I’m thinking I’m going to like Gillian! One of my favorite heroines is Beth from the first book of the Black Dagger Brotherhood.
i cannot wait for the book. i am totally in love with the series. thank you soo much for the contest.
angelbiker82@gmail.com
I think Faythe from Rachel Vincent’s stray series was a good heroine in series that ended and her’s ended in a way I could live with. Not sure of any other series that ended so this is the only series that I’ve read that has ended.
Need to catch up on this series. I think it’s the only one of yours I haven’t read yet.
scrtsbpal at yahoo dot com
I can’t wait to read the book! I’m so excited it is out! I loved the Drake Sisters from Christine Feehan’s series.
Thanks for the giveaway.
I have to go with Joanne Baldwin from the Weather Warden series by Rachel Caine. She matured a lot through the series and I loved the way it ended.
Love Lauren Dane!
Never really thought about fav heroines from an ending series… have to give that some thought… thanks for the chance to win…
Ohh, there are so many heroines that I like or such varying reasons. In Christy Reece’s LCR series Mckenna is a kick as operative who literally saved her hero in the beginning. I loved that she was equally tough and vulnerable. I am looking forward to Adrian’s book!
I cant wait to read adrians story. I fell in love with the Browns when I read brody and elises story. As a reader you really become interested in their lives. I cant wait to see.how Adrian reacts when he finds out about miles. I really wish the series was not ending.
Wow!! How to even answer this…Most of the series that I’m reading are still going, but a couple from series that have ended are: Mia Devlin, from Nora Roberts Three Sisters Island trilogy. I also agree with whoever else said Tate Murphy, she was the perfect heroine for Matt. Can’t wait to read about Gillian.
rriddles@yahoo.com
*sniffles* all this talk about Cope is making me teary eyed again – I love their story! Anyway, this is so interesting! I can’t wait to get my hands on Adrian’s book. Series ending heroines that I LOVE are the Riley Jenson series by Keri Arthur! I miss her so much!!
spazp at me dot com
Technically The Sword of Truth series has started up again, but the original series did end so I think it counts. Kahlan from that series is one of my favorite heronies. I just loved how strong and passionate she was.
The Psy/Changeling series isn’t done yet but the last book released (Kiss of Snow) made Sienna my favorite heroine. For those of us who read the series, we saw sienna mature & become a wonderful partner for Hawke. Someone strong & independent and she didn’t lose herself in order to be with him.
Cannot wait to read Adrian’s book.
marixblog@gmail.com
I have read so many different series over the years that I would be hard pressed to pick one. I have to say that the ones I have read were pretty good.
Thanks for the giveaway.
julskim@excite.com
This is a tough question since most of the series books that I’m reading are still going forward. From what I’ve read about Gillian, she sounds like a great addition to the Brown family. Grace from your Cascadia Wolves series is a great heroine, small but mighty! She is a perfect fit for Cade and together with Nina, what a hoot!
I love Mac from the Fever series and although it has not ended yet, Merit from Chicagoland Vampires. They both had to make huge transitions….
arosen14@gmail.com
I have been waiting on this book for a very LONG time! It is my most wanted READ of the YEAR!!! So glad the time is almost here.
Very exciting! Thanks Lauren for being such an Awesome Writer!
Love, Love, Love Tate and Matt!! One of my favorite books. Never get tired of reading it. I also love the Browns. Ella and Cope are one of my favorites also. Can’t wait for Adrian’s book. Counting down the days. Hope I am lucky enough to win!!!
I LOVE hearing how this series evolved. I enjoy the characters and so want them to be happy. A favorite heroine of mine is Beth from JR Ward’s Dark Lover. Stands by her man, but not willing to be walked on by him.
Other than the Browns, Maya Banks’s Sweet series is my fave!
Alicia
aliciamlopez@vzw.blackberry.net
Bella from Twilight series — I was sad to see this series end!!
These books were the start to my reading obsession and lead me to more great authors and books then I could imagine.
Can’t wait for Adrian’s book!!
I love how Harry Potter ended, Twilight series ended and Maya Bank The Colter’s Family.
I also love the Browns and CANNOT wait for this book to come out!!
I LOVED TEYHA TALAMOSI IN LIVE WIRE BY LORA LEIGH! I LIKED HER CHARACTER ALL ALONG THE SERIES AND THE REALATIONSHIP WITH JORDAN! THEIR STORY WAS THE PERFECT ENDING TO THIS SERIES!;)
LOVE YOUR BOOKS! AND THANK U SO MUCH FOR ALWAYS KEEPING YOUR GIVEAWAYS OPENED INTERNATIONALLY!:D
Hmm I tend to gravitate to series that follow one character through rather than families. Those I can think of that are like yours haven’t ended yet
Cripes my mind has gone blank. (don’t yah hate that). Um it hasn’t ended yet but I love the jennifer estep series with Gin. Really like how extra characters are subtely bought in and each extra book grow’s Gin’s character and helps her towards the (what I’m assuming will be) final battle with MAB. Will be very sorry to see it end and hope that a spin off can be done maybe with her sister lol
Hmm it’s pretty hard to pick but my favorite series ending heroine would have to be Tate from the Chase series…. I love almost all of Pamela Clare’s heroines, really loved Anya from Lora Leigh’s Coyote’s Mate
Most of the series I read are ongoing, but I absolutely loved Tate from Making Chase. She was my favorite heroine from that series. She was so wonderful and caring with her brothers and sisters.
The series I read haven’t ended. I love the Browns series and I can’t wait to read Aidan’s story. Thanks for the contest.
I’m not sure I have one favorite, but Shannon in Born in Shame of the Irish Born trilogy by Nora Roberts really worked for me–she helped tie the whole series together at that point.
The Brown siblings is the only one I can think of that’s ending. Most of the rest are continuing. I’ll be sad to say good-bye to them.
Dear Lauren, I stalk your blogs to enter these contests! I loved Grace from Cascadia Wolves as a series ender. I know Megan’s book was technically last, but I considered that a bonus wrap-up, as the Pellini story was what needed to be wrapped up. Grace was small but mighty and tough enough to make sure Cade didn’t push her around. From your description of Gillian, she kind of reminds me of her, so I guess I have to love this book!
I lost my internet signal as I was looking through my list of your books…and now just got back online. I love Alaska, but living on top of a mountain sometimes can be a pain in the butt…lol
The Cascadia Wolves is one of my favorite on my list, and have been wanting to have for a long time.
I just adore your characters, and will just have to keep a better eye out for your contest…*S*
Thank you again for the contest!
Wow, I don’t know how to answer this. Series ending heroines? I can’t think of any because I can’t remember any heroines from the end of a series. I am not counting series like KMM’s Fever or Suzanne Collin’s Hunger Games because the heroine is the same throughout. I’ll have to think about it. Thanks for the giveaway. I love the Brown series and I am dying to meet Adrian’s heroine.
This sounds like a really good series. I love good character driven stories. One of the best things about a series is catching up with the characters from the earlier stories. And the main characters from the end of the series gets to be built all along the way.
sallans d at yahoo dot com
I can’t think of a series I enjoy that has ended yet except for Karen Mari Moning’s Highlander series; I wish she would write more.
Wow everyone! Thanks so much for all the comments and the suggestions for series ending heroines, etc. Thanks also to Lillie and Fatin for having me today.
I realy cant think of one thats ended .Thank you for the chance to win an amazing sounding read .
Best series ending heroine has to be Madeleine from Kresley Cole’s final book in the The MacCarrick Brothers Trilogy. I just love her!
But I would also like to say Gillian from Never Enough because that is my name
and you rarely find G Gillians
I’d have to say, even though there are other heroines in the Brown series, Erin is the “glue” to the series…so I would have to say she is my absolute fav!!
I miss the Drake sister series by Christine Feehan. I absolutely love this series by Lauren Dane and cannot wait to see how it ends.
smccar1 at hotmail dot com
Ok, I haven’t read a lot of series that are complete except for you Chase series that are erotic romances. I will say that I loved Nicole Jordan’s The Courtship Wars. I love Tess from the beginning of the series and loved it that her book was the last of the series.
I enjoy mostly ongoing series, but I guess Nora Roberts has quite a few in her trilogies. I think the key is that you know most of the characters over the whole trilogy, so you care more about the heroines. I liked Hayley from Roberts’ Garden trilogy.
Mac from KMM’s Fever series is on of my favorite herione’s, I also loved Parker from Nora Robert’s Bride Quartet series.
i lkie nora roberts
suzanne enoch contemportys
congrts on your books and grreat reivews cant wiat for this one
whooooooooooo
I love Kelley Armstrong’s of the Otherworld..all the heroines are strong, smart but show they have their vulnerabilities too…sad that it is coming to an end.
I think all of the series I am reading are ongoing . . . Sera Ayers in Undercover was pretty fabulous!
Looking forward to reading this.
Marlowe Jones from Jayne Ann Krentz’s Midnight Cyrstal. lisagk(at)yahoo(dot)com
